Hello... this is broadstairs... the rising english riviera, located at the farthest north-eastern corner of the Kent coast. It is less than two hours journey by train from London and appreciates a reputation incomparable amidst seaside resorts. It has established an atmosphere quite unique from the rest of seaside England considering with the capital is nearby.
Press Release Date: 5th June 2008. Broadstairs beach, was the beach that Kent residents are most likely to visit. Broadstairs placed at the top of a list of 16 Kent beaches.
Also, voted as Nation's top- east beach resort on 2008.

Broadstairs has seven glorious sandy beach bays which express for themselves, intermittent by stunning chalky white cliffs. The main Viking Bay has a quality award and is perfect for beginner, [surfing lessons at Kent Surfing School and Revolution Skate Park, for surfing and skating in Broadstairs]. Two of the beaches have blue flag distinction, Stone Bay and Botany Bay. The Blue Flag Stone Bay beach, suitable for a spot of rock pooling. Stone Bay is a little serene, which covers 200 metres of sands, which is near to cafe and toilets. A passage is via Broadstairs Harbour. Encompassing Broadstairs' harbour area there's plenty going on with a selection of arts and crafts shops, Broadstairs Pavilion and Windsor Cinema and passage onto the 27 mile Thanet Viking Coastal trail which winds up from Broadstairs towards North Foreland Lighthouse (dating from 1499) and en route for more Broadstairs beach bays around Kingsgate including Joss Bay [a popular surfing paradise], Kingsgate Bay and Botany Bay.
